In the year 2004, Mr. Tomáš Hulva graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. In the year 2006, he sat a rigorous state exam in the Faculty of Law at Charles University Prague, and was awarded the title of Doctor of Law (abbreviated as JD). Afterwards, in the year 2015, he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) study programme in the field of “Law in Business” and the Master of Laws (LL.M.) study programme in the field of “Corporate Law – Company Administration and Management” in the Institute of Professional Studies in Ostrava, which is certified by the International Education Society London (IES). He practised as a trainee solicitor in a renowned international law firm, as well as in the law firm of Antonín Hulva, MA. He has worked as a solicitor since the year 2008. He has practised law for over 15 years.

During his professional activity, Mr. Tomáš Hulva specialises in civil, commercial and labour law. From a narrow specialisation, this involves corporate law, legal obligation relationships, international law and litigation. He is also active in the field of private law publications. He is the author of 13 magazine articles and 5 monographs.

During his work as a solicitor in the area of corporate law, Mr. Tomáš Hulva founded a large number of trading companies, realised their transformation and restructuring, and prepared trading company acquisitions, including their legal due diligence. For example, in the area of international trade, he participated in the realisation of: delivery of a crushing unit and a debris and gravel sorter to Iraq, sub-deliveries of fittings for the construction of power plants in Pakistan and Romania, deliveries of commodities to Iraq, construction of a combined cycle power plant in the Russian Federation and construction of a meat processing plant in Sudan.

In the area of development, he has taken legal patronage over the construction of many industrial buildings, university dormitories and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In the area of commercial obligation relationships, for example, he prepared complete contractual documentation for leasing companies (loan contracts, leasing contracts, factoring, general contractual conditions), manufacturing companies (contracts for work, purchase contracts, framework agreements, general contractual conditions), software companies (licence agreements and arrangements, general contractual conditions) and construction and development companies.
