Lawyers from our office have extensive experience in the area of international commerce, which is an everyday routine for most of our clients. However, our experience includes not only representation in the standard delivery of goods abroad, but also the negotiation of business terms, preparation of legal documentation and proposals for financing the delivery of complex technological equipment, including its transportation and commissioning abroad, or subdeliveries for the construction of investment units.
In connection with international commerce, our office ensured the delivery of tanks for oil products and a drainage system for a refinery in Serbia, delivery of a crusher and sorting machine for debris and aggregate for customers based in Iraq, subdelivery of fittings for the construction of a power plant in Pakistan, and subdelivery of pipes for the construction of a power plant in Romania, among other things.

In connection with international commerce, lawyers from our office can offer you, in particular:
- active participation in negotiating a contract, including business and legal conditions of the transaction;
- preparation and revision of contractual documents for the cross-border delivery of goods or technological equipment (usually purchase contracts and work contracts), all according to requirements imposed upon contractual documents by Czech legislation and international law, as well as by European Community law;
- proposal for a course of action, preparation and revision of contractual documents regarding financing the cross-border delivery of goods (credit agreements, contracts for a letter of credit, bank guarantees, factoring);
- preparation and revision of contractual documents in relation to transportation of the object of the delivery;
- representation in a judicial or arbitral proceeding in connection with disputes arising from international commerce;
- assistance in a judicial or arbitral proceeding in connection with disputes arising from international commerce when the place of jurisdiction is outside the territory of the Czech Republic, in which case we authorize a cooperating attorney, based in the country where the proceeding takes place, to represent the client.
